Since the beginning the company has grown steadily and is a significant force in the Industrial Computer Boards and Systems marketplace. Specialising in the design and manufacture of bus-based and stand-alone boards and systems for embedded applications in the instrumentation, control and communications sectors, the company exports its product all around the world.Standard products include VMEbus, CompactPCI (CPCI), IndustryPacks and PCI Mezzanine Cards (PMC modules) PICMG and ISA IPC modules. Operating system support includes OS-9, Windows, Linux and VxWorks. BVM provides a complete service for the OEM ranging from custom boards to complete systems. These are often provided complete with the customers logo and packaging. This provides the benefits of a true factory built solution, even when relatively small quantities are required. A complete board level design service is also offered giving customers access to the wealth of experience gained by our engineers over many years in the embedded systems business. Products are exported to many countries throughout the world with particular strengths in Europe and North America. Sales are either direct from the factory or in some overseas territories via distributors who are able to provide local support and advice. Since its inception BVM has operated a stringent Quality Management System for both its design and manufacturing operations, and in 1995 received its ISO9001 certification which was upgrades to ISO9001:2000 early in 2003.
