Company:
- Curtiss-Wright Controls, Inc.
Description:
- The new CSTR comprises an ideal platform for system developers who are developing and fielding applications on Curtiss-Wright Controls´ Packaged COTS (PCOTS) Subsystems. Curtiss-Wright Controls supports CSTR test configurations with a comprehensive range of components, including 19 different types of I/O panels, commonly demanded by military I/O test systems. This stand-alone system test rack speeds and simplifies the testing of embedded systems to reduce time-to-market and fielding of critical deployed systems.
The Curtiss-Wright Controls CSTR was designed with a full range of I/O interfaces panels necessary to support the widest range of test unit configurations. The CSTR is a standard laboratory rack (6´ x 4´ x 4.5´) that provides slots for up to19 I/O panels that support the full range of system I/O types including USB, ARINC, Video ports, etc. Ideal for system developers who wish to build and customize their own test systems, the CSTR is able to support the simplest basic rack requirements while enabling numerous custom I/O testing system configuration options to be selected by the user. A single CSTR test set up can support hundreds of PCOTS systems when comprehensively configured.
In addition to their flexible support of a wide selection of interface panels for I/O connectivity, the CSTRs also include a Dell PowerEdge™ R200 enterprise class rack server, serial port servers, power supplies, I/O cables, and a built-in LCD monitor and keyboard.
Three industrial grade power supplies are provided (24V–28V/5V/12V), each powered from a standard 100-240VAC.
The CSTR is ideal for use in Design Verification Testing (DVT) and Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP). Curtiss-Wright Controls´ own internal DVT and ATP testing is conducted using the CSTR platform.
